While acupuncture achieves strong results without the use of pharmaceuticals, it's also used in conjunction with a patient's conventional (Western) medical treatment.

Teresa McFarland is nationally board certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), She is licensed to practice in both Maryland and Virginia by the Maryland Board of Acupuncture and the Virginia Board of Medicine. She is certified as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).
Dr. McFarland earned her Master and Doctorate of Acupuncture degrees from the Maryland University of Integrative Health in Laurel, Maryland.
